1) What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit.
They can perform technical functions, such as operating the shopping cart, or statistical, analytical, profiling, and marketing purposes.
In this document, "cookies" also refer to similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels.
You can block or delete cookies through the consent banner and/or browser settings, as indicated in the "Manage preferences" section.
2) Types and legal basis
Technical / necessary cookies (first-party and Shopify)
They are essential for the Site's operation, for example, for the shopping cart, checkout, security, and load balancing. They do not require consent.
Analytical / measurement cookies (third-party, with anonymized IP)
Used in an aggregated form for statistics on Site usage. If adequately anonymized, as in the case of masked IP, they can be equated to technical cookies; otherwise, they require consent.
Profiling / marketing cookies (third-party)
They track browsing to show you relevant ads on this or other sites. They require your prior consent.

4) Cookie duration
Session / temporary: deleted when the browser is closed.
Persistent: remain until their predefined expiration, e.g., 24 hours, 3 months, or 2 years, or until you delete them.
Profiling cookies are not stored for more than 12 months; at the end of this period, you may be re-presented with the banner to renew your choice.
